Create a new business or sub-account under the reseller or account.

create_business

Description

Creates a new business (sub-account) under the reseller or account. Use it to onboard a new business or location, add a sub-account under a reseller, or create a physical location or individual provider entity. Returns the new businessId.

This is a write tool — it creates a real, live business record and is not idempotent: calling it twice creates two businesses. Confirm the details with the user before calling; do not create a business speculatively or to test.

Example Usage

Create a new business called Acme Dental, zip 94105, phone [phone].

Add a sub-account "Bright Smiles", zip 10001, phone [phone], email [e-mail].

Create an Australian business "Sydney Clinic", zip 2000, phone [phone], country AU.

Notes

• The call is not idempotent — each call creates a new business record. Confirm the details before calling.
• countryCode is mandatory for businesses outside the US; creation fails without it.
• businessName, zip, and phone are supplied directly by the user — do not resolve them from another tool.
